Call forwarding code finder
Say you've signed up and you're ready to send calls to Mia. Then comes the bit nobody remembers. Which star, which hash, and does Optus want two stars or one? This finder shows the forwarding code for Telstra, Optus and Vodafone mobiles and for Telstra landlines. Pick your carrier, pick when calls should forward (always, when you don't answer, or when you're busy), pop in your Mia number, and you'll get the exact string to dial along with the codes to switch it off again. They're the same codes as on our help page. Other landlines and 1300 numbers are set up through your provider, and the result tells you that too.
Pick your carrier and when calls should forward to see the code.
How this works
Look up the code for the line and forwarding type. Strip the spaces from your Mia number, write it in the 0 format (a number entered as +61 becomes 0 and the nine digits after it), and put it in the code. Some carriers reject a + inside a forwarding code, so the finder always uses the 0 format, the same as your dashboard. On a mobile the finder also gives you a button to dial the code. iPhones can refuse a dial link that has a star or hash in it, so on an iPhone or iPad you copy the code and dial it yourself.

Frequently asked questions
How do I turn forwarding off?
Dial ##21# to cancel always-forward, or ##002# to cancel all forwarding at once. Our help page says it takes effect immediately.
How do I check it's working?
Call your own number from another phone. Mia answers.
My practice uses a 1300 number. What do I do?
A 1300 number isn't set up with a dial code. Update the routing in your provider's portal. For landlines other than Telstra, contact your provider.
